Now I'm going to have to do some studying.  My parents never spoke Dutch at home, and I learned German for 4 years in high school.  This may take a few days  :mrgreen:
I stayed with my mum's cousin in Woudenberg for 2 months when I traveled through Europe back in 94.  It's such a pretty country.  What got me though was that so many people could speak English at the same level or better than me, a native English speaker.

Or just get another Dutch guy to translate for you, and then run it through babelfish to make sure it actually says roughly that.

I could.   :twisted:  My Dad is 16 timezones away and there aren't too many Dutchies here in Alabama.
But I'll try to do it myself. I always wanted to learn Dutch, this could be the start of that.

I = Ik

fire = vuur
weather = weer

Sun = zon
lucht = sky
