Naith Warriors
« on: March 10, 2009, 01:49:27 PM »
Here is my Elf deck for Towers block.

 Starting:
Frodo, Courteous Halfling W/ The One Ring, Answer To All Riddles
 Haldir, Emissary of the Galadhrim
 Fereveldir, Son of Thandronen

 Sites:
 Eastemnet Gullies
 Plains of Rohan Camp
 Barrows of Edoras
 White Rocks
 Hornburg Parapet
 Hornburg Armory
 Hornburg Causeway
 Wizard's Vale
 Fortress of Orthanc

 Fellowship:
 Legolas, Elven Comrade
 Taurnil, Sharp-eyed Bowman
 Lorien Swordsman
 Legolas' Sword
 4x Elven Sword
 4x Elven Bow
 4x Break the Charge
 2x Valor
 4x Feathered
 2x Night Without End
 2x Strength of Arms
 2x Agility
 2x Lorien Is Most Welcome
 2x Blades Drawn

Basically you try to kill during the archery phase and if they make it through they face Ferevildir + Agility. Also Haldir can be fully loaded and kill all. Night Without End finishes the minions off.

Comments on how to make it better?
With deadly precision, Elven Spearman kept the Orcs at bay.

Well, how do you heal your companions? With the exertion from frevaldir and Break the cahrge on vit 3 companions you should have real problems if anything go throught the archery phase. I say you don't need Feathered X4 cause it's just useless aginst dunland and low vit minions. I would just run Company of Archers instead. And you plan to put some bow in Taurnil? Cause i think that may not be very nice to your archery idea. I think that Lorien Is Most Welcome is not that usefull too. Maybe That is No Orc Horn can help on healing and liberating sites to not be overwhelmed by dunland or uruk site control...

yeah healing might be (will be) an issue. An other Legolas, the one from Helms Deep? To heal an elf when he wins?

the problem with that legolas is that he needs to win a skirmish to heal which means allowing something to get through the archery phase... that is no orc horn seems the better option

•Pengedhel, Naith Warrior could provide some skirmish strength.

Where are the Naith Longbow? Should pack at least two for Taurnil and Legolas. And I think you should probably run another with Pengedhel as well. Then you can probably run the Helm's Deep Legolas and heal both Legolas on the double and another comp coming off the skirmish win.
