Outstanding!  Really 10/10  Rachmaninoff was one of the best.  The Rach concerto #3 is still considered one of the hardest piano pieces to play.  You almost need 6 fingers.

Lets see who has the patience to listen to one of my fave's... over 9:00  ;D

Tool - Laturalus

If you're really interested you should search for: "laturalus, fibonacci."  To see how they worked that mathmatical sequence into parts of the song.

Pretty nice. I definitely have patience for long songs. And it had some cool guitar in there. 8/10 (This almost tempts me to link 2112...now that's a long song)

Let's try this one...(it has a PG cuss word in the very beginning, as a heads-up)

Delirium Trigger--Coheed and Cambria

Long songs? It's not long unless it's over 15 minutes... and I have at least a dozen favorites among those. I'll have to look up that song, CG... Rush, no?

Not to hijack the thread too much, but has anyone ever heard of Alice's Restaurant?

Surprised they don't list Nirvana as an influence...sounds a lot like Nirvana to me...

Eh. Not a big fan of the vocalist, but the music is decent.

6/10.

Alternative is better done completely crazy. Like, COMPLETELY crazy. Here.

Switchfoot- Oh! Gravity!

Two in one!

2112 was a very interesting experience, CG. I think I'd have to listen to it again and read the lyrics to fully appreciate it. I may have to check out Rush in general.

Oh! Gravity by Switchfoot -- maybe 7ish out of 10. Even if it's "COMPLETELY crazy," it seems like most recent Switchfoot stuff sounds the same. Didn't get to see the MVid 'cause YouTube is blocked at work.

I just have to post this one to see if anyone has the patience:

Alice's Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie (Lyrics)

My first introduction to this song was during my senior trip in high school. One of the chaperons did the whole thing from memory -- pretty amazing! (Warning: contains a word that rhymes with 'maggot', not offensive in context IMO)

(On Coheed...a lot of people mention that about Claudio. It's an acquired taste, I think. They're not really Alternative, either. It's a blend of progressive and true emo, with awesome guitar. I wouldn't term "Oh!Gravity." to be "completely crazy", either. Although it is a good song)

Haha...I'm listening to Alice's Restaurant, and yeah...I'm definitely enjoying it. Reminds me of "Albuquerque" by Wierd Al. I'll give it 9/10. ;D That's an awesomely impressive story, btw.

NB's video reminded me of one of the most unique videos around, and the song is good too...

ARGH! Video is horrible! Cardboard cutouts? Geez! I'll watch it anyways, cuz I haven't seen it for a while, but yeah...

Love the song, though. 10/10

Let's shake it up some...

Ah, Nuisance. I remember that one. Short, fun, not bad. 8/10

Here's, hahaha...a rather unique version of a popular power metal song...if you know the original, you'll probably really enjoy this...

Nintendo version of "Through the Fire and Flames" (as made famous by Dragonforce...)

7/10, it was kinda boring.

A song I despise.
