Silver ewer can be cut. The point of manager of wizards is that it makes you put high costing cards on top of your deck, hence making forearmed strong. So you kind of need it. It can be done in other ways, but they are -imho- more complicated.....

I built a telepathy deck and it was really powerful EXCEPT that it's soooo hard to keep track of everything! Almost every turn, at some point, I was like DOH!
