Symptoms of watching LotR
« on: March 25, 2009, 07:14:17 PM »
You have watched too much LotR if you...

...tell your cat: You can not pass!
...go to work though you do not know the way.
...say Mellon if doors are closed.
...bake cookies, because it is Liv Tyler's birthday.
...grin "Namarie" by discarding your opponents conditions.

What are your experiences?

I often use Elvish quotes in convesation.  It usually results in some odd looks from those around me, but I really don't care what they think.

I was out for a walk last week and came across a squirrel which was engulfed in flames. Not sure what to do, I kept it from going anywhere and proceeded to beat it with a stick until it fell off the bridge. I told my friends to keep going and leaped after it.

Squirrel got what was coming to it.

Most of my internet names are Elven.
One Ring to rule them all.
One Ring to find them.
One Ring to bring them all,
And in the darkness, bind them.
