[1]Ferthu Theoden Hal[Rohan]
Event•Maneuver
To play, spot 2 [Rohan] Men
Unless you can spot a companion
who has resistance 3 or less, discard a
possession from play.

What good is this card?

One Ring to rule them all.
One Ring to find them.
One Ring to bring them all,
And in the darkness, bind them.

Its good for killing Corsairs and their support area possessions, especially as they dont add burdens you shouldnt have a problem with resistance.

Like TJ says its just a simple posession discarding card, nothing more and nothing less. Its one of rohans "strengths" being able to get rid of enemy possessions. Hits things like web, larder, grond, ships etc. and especially wargs.

Useful if you face the right deck otherwise lame. Its the risk you take.

Yeah its pretty meta specific. If you know your opponent only knows how to use Corsairs (or the like) go for it. But it aint going to help against Forestguls etc

rohan already has dernhelm to kill wargs...its the corsairs that pose the problem.  just shows how screwed they would've been if the black ships had made it

you can discard your own possessions with it...;) I think it is not bad, maybe not the best against possessions, but it works good, leaves no choice for the opponent, like turn of the tide or so

well I know that there is a merry that makes you play possessions back. And Eowyn has a version that lets you discard her possession to make her strength +2. Guess Dain had a nice deck with her and merry...
