No, we do not need to register decks, unless TheJord says anything else. So they may be changed. 1 week per game sounds good.

Rules were:

Register your deck so you use the same deck throughout the tourney.
Change your avatar to your home flag while playing a tournament match.
Don't spy on "flagged" tournament matches (your opponent's decks).

The registering and "don't spy" were so that you couldn't custom-pick a deck to destroy your opponent, or know their strategy in advance. But I suppose it can work either way -- if no one registers, then you don't know in advance which deck you are going to face.

i would say have the players in the standard tournament register to kralik and the players in the movie tournament register to elrohir

Actually, IF we decide to register decks (meaning only one deck for the whole tourney), there is a built-in function in GCCG. Check out the last tourney thread for details.

Can we have a final word on whether we will be switching decks or not?

I think it's better if decks are not switched. This encourages fair play. If decks are allowed to be switched, then if a players happens to know the decktype of the other, then he may change to a different deck to cope better.
