Ent Question
« on: May 09, 2009, 08:12:52 PM »
Merry and Pippin, In the Bloom of Health "add 1 to the number of ents you can spot." Does this mean that each of them would reduce the cost to play Skinbark, Fladrif (and his counterparts) by 2?

Anduin Banks + Enqeua LoM + Nelya TotNR should do the trick....

What does Nelya do in this situation?  He changes the site during the shadow phase.  The wounds don't come into play once the FP moves there.  Having Nelya in play doesn't really do a whole lot or am I seeing this wrong?

I disagree Nelya totNR still works. the site is there in the shadow and so it is there during the archery phase.

If Nelya's switching the current site to Anduin Banks, then yes, the archery total will be +2 at that site.

I think that combo may have been intended to remove the Banks while still getting the bonus (the classic replay abuse), though. In that case Nelya pulls the plug at the wrong time, but cards like Led Astray and One Good Turn Deserves Another can do the job.

Yeah, I was aiming at Anduin Banks over and over again. But with the Gollum/Smeagol twist it is very well doable, nice to do in expanded, solo Smeagol would work just great and with Nazgul cycling you could add all kinds of sites that are possibly lethal, not only for a 5+ fellowship.
