I can't help myself. I was in shock when I saw some reactions in the other topic. I'm not going to start the debate, well, it is not my intention, and otherwise block it immediately, but please, throw away the other topic. Man....I recall a saying of a wizard we all came to know and to love: don't be to eager to judge upon life and death, for some who live deserve to die, and some who died deserve to live.... And other than that: who is without sin cast the first stone...seriously. If you're a man of faith, let God be the judge, don't be to eager to sit on His Throne. He'll know what to do.

Gah Heije!! Your troublesome dutchman you!

I agree with you completely, no matter how much they deserve it, as christians you dont go around wishing people dead, despite this dude being clearly messed in the head.

But thats doesnt mean I want this topic open. Ill leave it open because I you have been very nice to me recently! But at the first sign of overt displays of anger or anything its getting locked.

Play nicely children.  :-S

Well, the death of Michael Jackson was topic of debate. There were some things being said of which I/we think it can't be said. I needed to get it off my chest, and again it is not my intention to bring it back to life, most definately not, cause what can you say? It changes nothing. Just accept it, love/hate his music, and for the rest, let it be. For the rest, I 'll stick to my first post in this topic.....

If someone dies before his time comes, it is always sad. No matter if you like him or not. He was just human as you and me and as I know, he had a terrible childhood and never seemed really happy with his existence. His music was terrible, which is of course just my opinion, but he died with just 50 years of age. He and his death does not mean anything to me, but we better not judge about his, as I think, sad story. Remembers me to the death of Heath Ledge, also caused of wrong medication. He was one of my favorite actors and I still think, maybe he is still alive.... ;)
Just RIP Michael

I saw a couple posts last night that kind of shocked me, but I didn't really have time to post a reply.

Look, the only thing I liked about Jackson was Thriller and the Jackson 5. But some of the stuff I saw being posted...wow.

Like I said, not a fan at all, and found Jackson creepy at best. But let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Certain things I saw last night...not cool, people.
Best regards,
Dáin

Hmmm... I saw nothing... but it must have been really shocking due to all the posts here...

Wow, like macheteman, I only saw until my post in there. If I offended someone, seriously, it was not my intention. For those who read it, I want to clarify I didn't hate him, and with the "thank God for His decisions" I wasn't saying thanks to God for the death of Michael, I just meant that His decisions are wise and thanked Him that they're way better than anyone we could ever make.

I don't know what other people posted, but in case my post sounded bad, I didn't hate Michael Jackson at all. In fact, and quite frankly, I didn't even care. I barely listened to his music (I admit, I'm very ignorant about things I don't like and that do not affect me), thus It wasn't much of sadness or hapiness when they told me he had died.

Just a clarification, that's all.

If the topic was about the perpetrator of 9/11 or the OKC bombing guy, then nobody would have had a problem with saying he deserved death. Or if Bin Laden had a heart attack, nobody would object to saying that he deserved it. Or if some other random person was raping kids and died, nobody would object to it.

But Michael Jackson's famous, so that somehow means that he's different from all the other child molesters and rapists out there?
