follower spoting?

when a card says spot followers, like meneldor, is that all followers you have played or just the ones that transfered to your companions at the time?

Meneldor works with any follower that is active e.g. can be spotted. So any follwer in your support area will work (of the mentioned culture).

Yes, this is true. Followers are active along with all the rest of your Free Peoples cards during your turn, regardless of whether they are transferred or not.
