First of all: does anyone notice the ammount of decks I post these days? That means I have vacation, 7 long weeks  :uh-huh: This is no longer the case....hardworking young man here!
Second: eversince Hunters a lot of people started to use Eomer's Trusty Weapon to kill enemies dead  :P, anyway, I thought he had seen that trick somewhere, now I know where  :hey:

*The One Ring, Such a Weight to Carry (7R2)
*Frodo, Resolute Hobbit (10P121)

(1R)Edoras Hall (7U330)

3x Corsair War Galley (8U59)
3x Raider Halberd (7C156)
3x Ships of Great Draught (8R65)

Start Eomer, Eowyn and Smeagol. Start to beef up both your main companions and ofcourse try to get Merry early game. Mulligan if you don't have him right on. Once he is out, you're good to go. Beef up your main companions, and try to get an even share of possessions on both Eomer and Eowyn. There are a lot of possessions for Eowyn to benefit from. Her sword makes it possible to do sort of the Trusty Weapon trick. Play it in the skirmish to wound, discard it for the +2 bonus and bring it back with Merry. If she has a horse that is death to any 3 vitality minion. If that is not enough, use Shadowplay to spread more wounds. If there is anything left that is too much to chew on for your 2 main companions, let Smeagol do his trick. That's about it for the fellowship.

Shadow is just straight forward corsairs. Be annoying try to get rid of a key companion with Fierce in Despair. Red Wrath is there as a surprise, lethal as Rocky Balboa. Ships of great Draught is there to get cards back, multiple copies ensure an early copy, and the other copies can add tokens to the card. Well I don't need to further explain how corsairs work, so feel free to comment. Added another Fierce in Despair, which is so cool! Way cooler than Red Wrath, which is a very cool card itself!

Well lets start with the Fellowship... The problem I have is the lack of Fighters in the deck, because with a full companionship you have Frodo (Who cant fight) Eomer (Who is Amazing) Eowyn (Who's got some tricks) Merry (Who cant fight) and Smeagol (Who has A painful trick)

If a Shadow gets out four minions one will get to Frodo if you still want to use Merry (Which is Dangerous without support) or you can kill off Merry which means Eowyn becomes far less effective

Eomer's Avg strength is going to be a 12 which means he will still lose Skirmishes without Skirmish Events

Eowyn can kill a 3 vitality minion only a few times because after the first one its now in the discard pile if you dont have one in your hand Merry can only bring it back once

Smeagol can only use his trick twice, after that he is down to killing exausted minions

Merry & Frodo both have 0 support so a 6 vs merry or a 10 vs frodo and they are done

The deck is an interesting concept but as it is it seems like it could only survive not win. Personally I like using •Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien with Rohan to kill minons flat out, if you kept the same idea with using Merry to bring back the sword Eowyn LI would be a better choice because then she is not relying on the sword alone but can use her game text as well and if you added more Shields using Merry she could Constantly heal herself

So I would say take out the Smeagol cards (3) Take out Eowyn (1) A Copy of Merry (1) Arrow-slits (2) Shadowplay (3) Simbelmyne (1) =11
Add Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien (1) Add Unyielding (3) Add Rider of Rohan (1) Add •Theoden, Rekindled King (1) Add Rohirrim Shield (1) Add Riders Mount (1) Add Charged Headlong (2) Add Riders Spear (1) =11

This is just a thought, but what if you used Boromir, Bearer of Council as your Ring-Bearer? Trade out Such a Weight to Carry for Answer to All Riddles, and drop the three Shadowplays. You have an extra spot (you can only use one Fortress Never Fallen), so now you are down to 30 cards. I would trade one Brego with one Swift Steed (the Swift Steed can be for Eowyn, and Brego can be played on Boromir, Bearer of Council).

I like your idea overall, but you should probably consider adding two copies of Weapons Store into your deck just in case. And a copy of We Left None Alive. I actually like that idea a little better than four copies of Merry, Swordthain, but that's your call. I would also add an Aragorn, Ranger of the North. You never know when you are going to face a swarm and sometimes those Rohirrim Javelins just aren't enough. What happens if Merry has to get assigned to a skirmish and gets overwhelmed in your first turn? Two Orc Assassins out on the board can do that for pretty cheap twilight early in the game--that's why Weapons Store is necessary.

I liked the Unyielding idea. And I think the Lady of Ithilien idea may work out better for you as well. Here is my recommendation in simple text format:

Trade Frodo and the Ring for Boromir, Bearer of Council and the One Ring, Answer to All Riddles
Remove (15):
1x Fortress Never Fallen
3x Shadowplay
2x Don't Look at Them
1x Smeagol, Always Helps
4x Merry, Swordthain
2x Rohirrim Shield
1x Brego
1x Simbelmyne

Add (13):
1x Theoden, Rekindled King
1x Gamling, Warrior of Rohan
2x Swift Steed
3x Unyielding
2x Weapon Store
1x Herugrim
1x Blade of Gondor
1x Aragorn, Ranger of the North
1x We Left None Alive

It's your call on replacing Eowyn. I prefer Eowyn, Lady of Rohan or Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien.

I do disagree with Ungoliant just a little...I think Arrow-Slits are great for discarding Fell Beasts and Easterling Polearms...those are kind of the two possessions I hate the most. And this gets you to a Free Peoples side of 32 cards...not bad.

Sorry I really can't help with Corsairs.

Sigh, had a huge, well funded reply and all of a sudden it is gone. Probably I did something wrong.
I want to keep Shadow Play and Merry. That way I can spread the wounds immediately and it is a reliable way of getting possessions back. Weapon Store is a condition, and you have to exert, I don't like that.
In movieblock you can play up to 4 copies of Fortress Never Fallen, unless your own playergroup has other thoughts about it. Boromir ARB, I don't like him. Maybe I will add a Tale of the Great Ring, which is awesome.
I do like the Aragorn thing, but I could go with KiE, to heal Eowyn. I could also add NFFatRoD, to get rid of the threats possible added by smeagol....Things to consider.

Your starting line-up can't see play. Eomer needs a man to be cheap :uh-huh: and Gamling needs a man to even get started ;). But you have only 1 red arrow, that can screw it up. I think I would pair this with as much companions as I could get, and let merry with his sword be my saviour against Enquea. That way I have plenty beefed up companions to face practically everything....

This is the deck that could use Charged Headlong....

I like the deck you have made. However, it looks weak vs Swarm. Since you have already 4 Simbelmine in there, you could cut a few copies of Brego or Eowyn's sword to add The Tale of the Great Ring or PATHS.

Your shadow looks alright, I'm not a corsair expert.

Ket, the deck you suggested is good... but it's more like Rohan Beatdown while Gil-Estel is trying something else.
