Anyone have any opinions on the Legends of the 5 Rings tcg?  My friend and I are thinking about getting into it starting with the new Celestial edition.  Any thoughts?

I've heard that it is excellent, though I haven't played it myself. I think it's supported for LackeyCCG, so it might be worth using that to give it a try.

I have a friend that plays it a lot, travels accross the country playing in tournaments. He says the game is awesome (and I believe him), and it's also very cheap.

I play the Role-playing game.  If it is anything like that, it will be worth every penny.  It is a very rich game, culterally, no hack n slash.  I've heard the learning curve is very steepe
