4x Isengard Tinker (6C71)
2x Isengard Warrior (3U61)
4x Isengard Worker (3C62)

Start Isildur and Aragorn. They are your only companions, so that is somewhat risky. Therefore, this time, I'm considering Boromir, cause I can only add burdens with Isildur. And with the healing I have going on -athelas, Ring of Barahir and Elrond- and wound preventing, he might be a better option. On the other side, Narsil is an artifact, provides loads of strength, extra vitality and a special ability I forgot to use yesterday haha.
Aragorn is defender +1, which makes the SotWT ofcourse good. Shards is and extra artifact, makes Still Sharp good (well playable) and makes me stick what ever I don't need yet.

Shadow is stupid swarm with nasty abilities. Regroup wounding is nothing to sneeze at, especially if some survive. Saruman's Power is there as is Enquea to neutralise certain obvious threats.

Comments are welcome!

Good and fun deck Heije  ;),

You probably need footman's armor or armor, you can cut some boosts for that  8-).
Maybe one more *Garrison of Osgiliath to be sure Ring of Barahir works.

JUSt a heads up, Armor prevents Boromir from wounding twice, so you always have to take burdens.

On the shadow side, I'd probably cut some of the 4-cost Orcs, since you mentioned in our game today that your goal for the shadow was mainly to be cheap and cycle to let set up your fellowship quickly. Also, to help get some stopping power like we talked about, I'd suggest adding some copies of Wizard Storm. It'll either get some stops, or do a bunch of wounds – either way, you win. Maybe just cut the two copies of Isengard Artisan and Isengard Retainer for 4x Wizard Storm. It's nice to have the larger guys, but an 8-strength minion with no support cards won't be winning a whole lot anyway, and the Wizard Storms will probably do more damage / get more stops for you. I might also cut a couple of the 3-cost minions for 2 more copies of Isengard Shaman to help keep your guys alive.

On the fellowship side, you definitely need more than 1 copy of Elrond if you're going to play cards that depend on him, like Secret Sentinels and the Phial of Galadriel. I'd either run 3 copies of him, or cut all the Elf cards (which would free up room for more Gondor stuff, and help you choke better – adding 4 twilight to play Elrond can really hurt at the wrong time). One copy of Sam, Son of Hamfast might not be a bad idea to help you keep the burdens down, and then you can sacrifice him to the next big minion that comes along. I'd add another Garrison of Osgiliath or perhaps a Noble Leaders so that the Ring of Barahir has a better chance of working. Since your plan is to win with your fellowship, you might want to throw in something like Gondor's Vengeance to help you double move if there's a big minion that would otherwise follow you and cause problems.

That is the point, and thanks for the advice, that I don't have a ranger. I realy like the standard defender +1 bonus, instead of the Ranger of the North. But with a Ranger I have access to other, very good cards, like What are They, An Able Guide, Gondor's Vengeance and others. So I'm still thinking about those things....

Good luck gil-estel.. I recall you mumbling about Boromir RB, I see at least you consider to use him and believe me it is a good idea to use him in choke with 2 companions.
It works.
The problem with these decks is archery and need for discarding shadow conditions.
You could cut the Phial Of Galadriel (too much burden resistance boost, if you have 5 anyway you're on your way to damnation) for a shield (if it's Boromir RB, then his shield).
My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that i'm right...
