So an Elf and two Hobbits walk into a bar....
« on: August 06, 2009, 03:30:12 PM »
Well this is another one of my creations.  I say that because I received no help on it and I copied it from no one.  Its pretty fun to play and kind of frustrates people.

Ring Bearer
Galadriel, Bearer of Wisdom
with
The One Ring, The Ring of Rings

Starting Fellowship
Legolas, Woodland Emissary
Pippin, Hobbit of Some Intelligence
Merry, Loyal Companion (might change him out for •Merry, The Tall One.  I had him in there originally but took him out cause I was unsure of which one would be better.)

Companions
Orophin, Silvan Elf x2
Rumil, Silvan Elf x2

Followers
Daddy Twofoot, Next-door Neighbor
Uruviel, Woodland Maid

Artifacts
Nenya, Ring of Adamant x2

Possessions
Long-knives of Legolas
Legolas' Bow
Blade of Lindon x2
Elven Bow x2

Events
Make Haste x4
Point Blank Range x3
Nocked x3
Seclusion x3 (have it in there for the toil so it doesn't effect make haste.)
Unheeded x3

Conditions
Shadowplay x4

Shadow
Bold Easterling x3
Courageous Easterling x2
Pirate Cutthroat x2
Voice of the Desert, Southron Troop
Vicious Dunlending x2
Saruman, Coldly Still x2
Stampeding Chief x2
Easterling Dispatcher x2
Stampeding Hillsman x2
Stampeding Savage x3
Stampeding Shepherd x2
Vengeful Primitive x2

Possessions
Corsair Grappling Hook x3
Corsair Boarding Axe x3

Conditions
Caravan From the South x2

Any advice would be nice the shadow needs a little tweaking I think.

I would play Sword of the Fallen instead of Blade of Lindon. What are you going to go with tokens, I mean, where are you going to put all the tokens? I see no tokencards. What are you aiming for with your shadow? Please tell us, so we can give some constructive critisism.....

I guess I forgot to add the most important part.  ;)

Fleet of corsair ships x3

Shadow is just based around trying to get the Stampeding Chief out as much a possible.  Perhaps a weak strategy but maybe I need more of the Stampeding Shepherd in there and more of the Stampeding Chief.  I don't know what do u guys think any advice is great.  This shadow works horrible against Rohan not sure if there is anyway around that.  The Swords of the Fallen are an obvious choice not sure why I omitted them from this deck ](*,).  Hehehe use the ability on the Sword of the Fallen with Unheeded .  I guess with those in there I can take out Uruviel  :hey:.  I should probably take out the point blank range as well, this will open up a total of 4 cards I can add.  I will look at the suggestions that Elrohir left to see what this deck could really use (thanks for the suggestions).

They do bounce, they bounce all day with Make Haste and Daddy Twofoot, Next-door Neighbor.

If you use bouncing hobbits you can cut those and add better ones.

But the nice thing about Pip is the free heal or burden removal.
