Ranger of the north is top 20 in value from the fotr? i got it for .50 from sandtroopers post... talk about cards being "value-less" hehehe

hrm...i'd probably put Gimli, Son of Gloin and maybe Narya or Glamdring over some cards on that list...I can't argue with your top 10 though. all good cards

First of all, the conversations were regarding foils. Secondly, there is no way Gimli is more valued than Aragorn. Thirdly, Narya isn't in the FotR set. Fourthly, the price of your Aragorn probably speaks more to the trend of cards being cheap as #$&*@!, not them being bad cards. Finally, you are right about Glamdring...it probably should have been on there instead of Gandalf.

Gimli, Son of Gloin is one of the third-tier rares from the Fellowship of the Ring set. As for the Goblin stuff, most of the reason that is all up there is because MD and I were talking about splitting a FotR foil set and if we drafted (i.e., I had the first pick and he had the second) that is how it would've gone...I was trying to finish my foil deck at the time (notice how the best of them--Goblin Runner--isn't there?).

That said, the last Goblin Scimitar (foil) on eBay sold for $6. The last Gimli, Son of Gloin (foil) on eBay sold for $4.

For what it is worth, Gimli, Feared Axeman is top 20 in Return of the King (although that was a pretty weak set when you think about how few "power" rares it had).

Gimli, Bearer of Grudges is top 10 for Reflections, I would say.

0P63 is the most over priced and expensive of those promos.

You can only obtain them via ebay or someone willing to trade thats probably in dire need of cash or has a spare.
