I ticked the "hide email address" but if you go on members my email address is available there for emailing and so you can see what it is.

Is that not working right or something?

Can you stop this Kralik? I hate having an undisguised email address on the net for a spam bot to trawl through and find.

I'm pretty such there is a setting that lets members see your email address but not guests. Even so, it may be allowing you to see it simply because you are you! I'll check.

No it shows all those with email addresses entered if u click no the little icon in the email column. But i generally wanted it hidden esepcially to guests.

This is what I have in the Global Settings:
Allow users to hide their email from everyone except admins? (YES)
Do not reveal contact details of members to guests (YES)

And in your profile you have checked:
Hide email address from public? (YES)

Try seeing if your email address is visible as a guest, or perhaps ask another member (not an admin) to check and see if it lists your address.

But since you brought it up, I recommend that everyone check the box marked "Hide email address from public?" in your Profile-->Account Related Settings. Believe it or not, there are worse things out there than Dain! :o
