The funny thing in multiplayer games is that you start to add diplomacy and "when to kill" strategy to game and its reduce the probability that a freeps will walk freely just becaus his/her oponnent are having bad shadow draws...
Diplomacy? Thats right!
I play it once in a while with my firends and we spend some time convincing the other players to "keep this guy alive cause we need his shadow to stop the freeps of that other guy" or trying to convice other players to launch their evil combos on the one stronger freeps (well we usually don't do that when the best freep condition is ours).
It has some subtle changes in strategy also. I played a fellow game on gccg once and it was very funny! But i have to agree that 2 player games are more popular and need many tables...
