Benefits to dividing a deck?
« on: June 20, 2008, 04:39:36 PM »
Any benefits to dividing a draw deck into FP and Shadow halves?

I think this could be done by mid-game with an Elven Telepathy / Moving This Way deck. The Free Peoples side draws as many cards as possible (Alliance Reforged, Woodhall Elf), places the FP cards on top of the draw deck using Manager of Wizards, and then uses Attunement to send them to the bottom. The Shadow uses Moving This Way to cycle through Nazgul and send them to the bottom. When the process repeats the blocks of FP and Shadow cards coalesce (it'd also help to play cards from hand), and voila! A defragmented deck!

Besides powering one Attunement per turn... anything else?

Um...I could see using that strategy to set up forests and use Moving This Way at The Angle to power a forestgul swarm. Very nice idea.
