Well, Aragorn, Ranger of the North is better, and that's why:There are so many cards that require the Ranger Keyword like No Stranger to the Shadows, Pathfinder, An Able Guide and many more, and exerting him seems not so hard for all this support cards.
After all, aren't most of the newer aragorns w/o the ranger keyword?
I depends of the situation. I would say that Aragorn, Heir to Elendil than Aragorn, RotN in every situation except when:- You need the ranger keyword.- You use it as a splash companion who acts as swarm protection or a speed-bump.
