On the Freeps I would definitely play 4 Promises, at least 1 F Pan, if not another Sword too. If you're being hurt by Naz the only way to survive is with more Strength: T&B/Bounder, etc. I'd drop
Thror's Map,
Hobbit Farmer, and a
Hobbit Party Guest.
The Pippen and Sam you are playing are just so-so, imo. There really is no good Pip, so I suppose there's little choice. But uou have 2 Ponys, so go with
Sam Son of Hamfast or
Sam, Proper Poet.
I don't like Deft either, and if Nazgul are giving you trouble why not
Not Feared in Sunlight? Or another A Talent will help consistency and reduce TL faster.
Clockwork is right to recommend
Boromir, SoD. And every deck needs
Enquea LoM if not Nertea.
For the Shadow, I'd go balls-to-the-walls with Watching Eyes and Bowmen and
Hate--4 of each.
Bitter Hatred is OK, but
Malice seems iffy. I'd definitely drop from these two to fill out the Watchful Eyes etc.
The minions seem tricky. You have a lot of low cost guys, but mixed with a lot of events. I think the little guys are just going to die. When I played Watchful Eye I played Morgul Hunters and Orc War Bands--big guys who aren't going away willingly.
Moria Archer Troop is pricey, but better than those Bowmen.
At any rate, I like 4
Orc Assassin over any Orc Scouts. I actually like the Goblin Runners, and would go with 4 along with
They Are Coming x2. Helps alleviate your clog, gets your Runners (or archers) back.
Will it work? I don't know. Try it and tell us!
