Hail the people from Middle Earth,
Last year the lotr tournament in Amsterdam was a nice succes. I'm thinking of planning a lotr-tournament in Amsterdam. But I want your opinion before I start organizing it.
So far the plan is:
A one day or two day event.
One day event: First of may (saturday) in the 2 Klaveren in Amsterdam. Austrian format* 5 rounds and a final meetup between the top 2 players.
Two day event: First of may (saturday) in the 2 Klaveren in Amsterdam. Austrian format* 5 rounds and a final meetup between the top 2 players.
Second of may (Sunday) also in the 2 Klaveren. Fotr boosterdraft & TT Boosterdraft (or just one of the two).
* = It will be allowed to play with either rotk sitepath or with standard sitepath. If Rotk sitepath is used then you don't get regionbonus and you have to play it on the correct sitepathnumber. If only one plyer uses Rotk and the other player uses generatic sitepath then the moment a generetic site (which can be used generetic) is used you will add up the regionbonus.
In Austrian format we will use the current x and r list for players with standard decks. And the legal x- and r list for movieblock for movieblockplayers.
Why the start of may. Well on April 30 we have Queensday back here. Which is a great event and worth to visit. So it might be interesting for non-dutchman to combine the 2 events.
I'm still figuring out how to organize the prizesupport for the Austrian format tournament.
If people want it a tournament where you can earn points for a raitinglist. Well that's possible, but then there must be such a list and I need info about it (how many points people earns and stuff like that).
Please react and give your suggestions before 31 of january. I will not take notice of reactions after this date!
Regards,
Jan Willem
