I've got both, and finally a camera, so expect my pics soon, and now I'll be sure to include those pics.

All right. It took me WAY too long to get motivated, but I am - as soon as this reply is posted - going to photograph my collection.

Prepare for mindblowingness.

Everything has been kind of shoved to the side recently. Don't worry. I'm about to spread everything out.

The first two boxes...

...which contain my "common/uncommon" playset. In these boxes are 3 copies of each common or uncommon in print, organized first by set and then by card number; the 4th of each is organized in the same way (pictured below). As you might imagine, the first column is for FotR block, the second column for TTT, and etc. It doesn't get any more organized than this.

But it doesn't stop there! In these three super-heavy boxes are my "common/uncommon" overflows. Any common or uncommon that I have too many of (IE: more than 4 of) gets organized into these boxes, using the same 'set, then number' system I use throughout the collection. When building a deck or giving away cards, I access these boxes first.

And now we get to the binders. The green binder if the FotR block binder - black is TTT, white is RotK, red is Shadows, and blue is Hunters. My extensive promo collection of cards is spread out through these binders, placed within the set to increase 'shock and awe' while someone looks through the pages.

I'm very happy to own these cards. Some of the coolest in the entire game, as far as I'm concerned.

But these puppies are my absolute favorite set of cards. They're just so... dark.

Full play set of Age's End.

Ooooh... and what binder could this be?!

That's right. My Farmer Maggot collection. Pages and pages of Maggots. Foil Maggots. Foreign Maggots. It's a maggot-hole of Maggots, I tell ya!

The sharper tools in the shed must have asked by now where all my rares are. Well, I have 1 copy of each rare I own filed away into the binders, but the other 3 in the play set are organized into these 4 boxes.

Any "overflow" rares go into this box. I have lots, and these are cards I freely give away whenever I get a chance to give cards away (which honestly is next-to-never these days).

I have a special little box where I put my leftover/super-special promos or misprints. These are 3 gray-border Mines of Moria cards; it might be a little hard to see in the picture, but the top border is not black, but gray.

Black Rider foil... signed by Kyle Heuer. My pride and joy. I got this little beauty for having my question about Wars TCG read on Radio Free Decipher years ago, in addition to several oversized cards and out-of-print ST1E cards.

Everything.

Oh... I seemed to have overlooked ONE important aspect of this collection...

Are you ready for it...?

...

...

...

Four copies of Gandalf, Returned. The card I designed. The card I will always love. The best Gandalf ever made.

Alright guys and gals, here it is, now that I finally have a decent camera to use!

Here's the broad view of the cards I use most. In the card catalog are both my LotR Rares and SWCCG Rares. The poster on the wall is actually an uncut sheet of Light Side Endor Foils. The books on the card catalog are from the Star Trek DS9 Relaunch series (awesome btw), and the binders next to it are mostly SWCCG. There are two Rook cases next to the binders, which hold my 6 LotR decks (Standard only, foiled nearly 100% including full Corsair, Morc, and Nazgul Corruption shadows), 4 SWCCG decks, and my wife's 2 SWCCG decks (which she swears she'll use sometime to play against me - I'll sound the alarm when that happens ).

A closer look at the card catalog - yes, those are cut up cards in the windows of each drawer. Each LotR drawer contains a playset of rares from a different block.

FotR and TTT Block Rare Playsets

RotK, WotR and Hunters Block Rare Playsets

Foil and Promo Binder Page 1 - Isildur's Bane and Answer to All Riddles and some Aragorns. The second HttWC is not only foil, but in French!

Foils and Promos pages 2 and 3

Foils and Promos pages 4 and 5

Foils and Promos pages 6 and 7

Foils and Promos pages 8 and 9

10 and 11 - The Nazgul on page 10 are all the rare ones from RotK (if there was a rare version).

12 and 13 - The Balrogs are both signed by John Howe, designer of the Balrog.

My Decipher Tournament Director Bag. Pins include (from L to R): Star Trek Ambassador, Rider of Rohan, dAgent, Ringwraith (TD), and Red Squad. The two DGMA pins below the stitching are for the two Premier Points I earned playing in bigger tournaments.

I'll leave out the t-shirts for now, but I'm not missing many.   ;D   My C/uC are organized exactly like Menace's, I just didn't want to dig them out. I've got an uncut sheet of SoG rares, but it's got some water damage on the lower left corner, and also a nearly complete set of oversized cards (only missing the un-numbered Gandalf/Moria Orc double-sided card).

I think that's "all", though I'm frightened to think how much money I've spent to acquire all these little pieces of shiny cardboard. Oh well, they make me happy and that's all that counts, right?

Good golly... you just put me to sad shame! If I could afford it, I would be on ebay right now gobbling up as many LotR cards as possible.

Man. I wish some day to have a whole room dedicated to card-gaming like you do! Truly inspiring!

*jaw drop* Those foils are an awesome treat to see. The Ruling Ring from Towers completely blew my expectations away. I didn't think primarily red flames would show up in greens and purples as well. For others the eBay pics were never as good, so yeah... been ogling through those pages. Thanks for taking all those pics, HawkeyeSPF, especially the Ruling Ring and Balrog!

As for menace64, another impressive collection as well, and I broke into a grin looking at the Farmer Maggot collection. Hobbit Hospital was my first deck (the FotR starter doesn't count), so I have a spot spot for him. ;)

Wow, Hawkeye, impressive collection!   :o  And menace, I didn't know that you were responsible for that great card, Gandalf Returned, awesome!

My collection isn't nearly as great, but here it is anyway.   ;)

First off, my commons and uncommons boxes.  These are filled chock full of cards, organised like this:  culture, card type (character, possession, event, condition), then alphabetically.  The black boxes are all shadow cards, while the coloured boxes are freeps.  Rohan and Dwarves are in the red box, Gondor and Gandalf are in the purple one, elves and sites are in the blue, and Hobbits are in the green.  Gollum is also in the green because my shadow boxes were overflowing and it made sense for Gollum to go with the Hobbits (well, it makes sense to me anyway  :D ).

Secondly, we have my foils (left side) and rares (middle) that are up for trade, plus my decks (on the right).

Next up is the first part of my complete collections, including foils and non-foils.  These are the folders for: Mines Of Moria (black), Realms Of The Elf Lords (purple), Battle Of Helms Deep (foily blue, no foils included in that folder), Ents Of Fangorn (green), Return Of The King (dark blue) and Siege Of Gondor (purple).  The smaller folders include the Tengwars, Wraith collection (both in the fighting dragons folder) and Reflections (robo dragons).

These are the above collections folders opened.

Here is the second part of my complete collections, including foils and non-foils:  Countdown To The King promos, Mount Doom (foils and non-foils are in 2 separate but similar folders, the dragon caller, and I have had to cover her indiscretions), Shadows (black and grey), Black Rider (black), Bloodlines (blue), and Treachery And Deceit (foily gold).  The smaller folder holds Expanded Middle Earth and Ages End (foily red with the dragon).

These are the above collection folders opened.

And finally, here are my works in progress, my incomplete collections:  Promos (yes, I know that's a MTG folder, but it was so cool that I had to buy it, I hope that the MTG people can forgive me  ;) ), Fellowship Of The Ring (dark blue), The Two Towers (black), Battle Of Helms Deep foils (foily blue, to match the non-foil folder for this collection), The Hunters (green), and Rise Of Saruman (foily silver).

And here are the above folders opened.  You can see some of the holes in my collections here (all that I need are a few more foils - well, a little over a hundred, actually, lol  ;D ).

Like I said, it isn't as impressive as the others, but there it is!   :)
