Get Smart Is a Good Movie... And I'm Seeing The Dark Knight FOR FREE!

Yeah, the midnight showing of Batman is already completely sold out up here. Tickets just went on sale, too.  And we were hoping to go. I'm sure as heck not gonna go to a 3:00am showing. So I guess it's Monday evening for us.

Just saw Hulk.
It wasn't great, but it was mildly entertaining. Never did like the Hulk, though. I liked the Captain America references, though, and the end bit with Tony Stark.

I have yet to see Get Smart OR Incredible Hulk. And now Dark Knight is about to hit...GAH! I'm falling way too far behind.

Yeah Prince Caspian was good.  Enjoyed it about the same as the first one.  Hopefully I'll be seeing both Hellboy II and Batman within a week.

Heh heh. My cousin just walked into the room. Exact quote:

"Hey, guys. You might be interested in this. There's a very good chance I'm going to be seeing The Dark Night tomorrow at midnight. That's a result of me knowing people. You know people too. You know me."

So I said that if he could get tickets, I'd pay up to $12 for a midnight showing seat. SWEET!



Caspian was fun. Dark Knight is pretty much the last movie of the year (that I know of) that I'm interested in. Unless Star Trek is coming out this year. I keep forgetting when it's coming out.

Just saw Dark Knight.

It's good.
It's really good.

It's also not at all like I was expecting it to be, but that's okay, because it was still excellent. I didn't like the ending at first, but by the end of the ending, I loved it.

Saw it sunday night. Amazing movie, I think Ledger has posted a performance to make we remember him forever. Just... amazing. Didn't quite like the discontinuation of Rachel Dawes, which got replaced by another actress, but hey, things like taht happen eventually, right? Still didn't like her very much in the role.

See now I'm the other way around .  I really don't care for Katie Holmes, so I was happy that Maggie G replaced her.  Overall.. this movie beat out Wall-E as my top movie of the year.  I need to see it again to say for sure, but I think its going to crack my top ten of all time.  Very dark and sadistic, but just extremely well done.  It is so good that it doesn't really feel like a comic movie as much as a movie similar to the very best gangster movies (The Departed, Untouchables).

Oh and Hellyboy II was great as well.  Better than the first, but similar in that it's just alot of action and fun.  Great environments and GREAT creativity in this one.  deserves the 88% fresh from Rotten Tomatoes.

nope...I just saw incredible hulk...some nice action scenes...liv tyler did a good job and the abomination before he became the abomination was amazing...
