Still, they're not worth $300 apiece.

As separate auctions, I could easily see that happening.

Ugh, I remember seeing a 0.99 Boromir Steward's Heir once, it shot up to $15 at its end and I thought it was too much to pay for it. Sigh. So, how many copies of these cards were ever printed, and when? I'm interested in their history. XD

This isn't noteworthy.

Personally, I'd check out buying up four of the Siege of Gondor foil sets on eBay for $45 each and see about the Mount Doom foil sets that are $40. Nothing is cooler/more broken than an all-foiled Corsair deck.

I agree, there are some sets (2,8,10,12) that are just so cheap, there's no reason (unless you just need a few cards) to go about collecting it, rather than buying it.

When your wanted list looks like Legolis's, then it is. Kid is looking for a lot of cards and complete sets is a nice way to do that.

My maths is NOT great, but that is something like 40 copies of each card.  :o

Just in case! 10 decks, each with four copies of the same card ... you never know?
