Is that a new high for the 0P127?   $632.00

Craziness... to me.

The last one went for over $700.00.

Well, at least getting My Precious Fellowship makes it worth it...

http://cgi.ebay.com/LOTR-TCG-ROS-EVIL-MAN-URUK-RAMPAGE-STARTER-no-rares-/290459335583?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0

Anybody else see this #$&*@!?

lol. just lol, I mean who would buy that?!
NO RARES? even with the Rares, I wouldn't pay more than, say, 20 US$ for each Starter (and I would buy only the Uruk one anyway), considering that you can't pull any foils from starters, but this is just stupidness over and over.

Perhaps his strategy is more psychological. Constant high prices could lead people to believe that they are worth more that they actually are.

possible, but whoever sees any auctions or online stores with Rares he's selling for half that price can see what the MPF guy really is: an exploiter and an assho**

See... and then he's inconsistent. No way that's worth more than the Masterworks.

Lurtzy, of course the other post was sarcasm.

Kinda noticed that the listings for cards has started to drop or something. The main listing place on e-bay LOTR Trading Card Games had been carrying around 12 thousand to over 13 thousand listings forever. Now it has been hovering around 7 thousand for around a month. Must mean they are starting to get thin.... I would think anyway.

Could be. Wildthingsgames lists a lot less often and a lot less sets now than they did 1 year ago. It really seems like the warehouses are getting empty for good...

To support your observation, when I got into the game I checked German ebay extensively. I stopped doing that, though. There is hardly anything worthwhile anymore and there is always the same junk.

I hope I can fill my collection needs before ebay and the trade forums dry up completely. At least this site is going strong :up :

I hope to get mine too but it is going to take some time. I think the American economy has a little to do with it too, everyone or a lot are not spending like they use to. The masterworks and foils for the Hunters on up are very expensive lol. I can tell this might actually take a year or three. I hope to see this site stay strong and expand it would be helpful for everyone.
