what do people think about printing LOTR cards out and playing with them? Not in tourney's of course, but for casual play?
I've used them, in star wars, but not lotr. if your gaming group is fine with it, why not? however, Ket has a point. If you're going to use proxies, why not play the gccg. it is an awesome set up, it's 100% free, and you have unlimited access to every card in the game. Oh, did I mention it is free. That isn't even the best part. The best part is that it's free!

IMO proxies are fine for casual play and i would even go as far as saying they are fine for tournament play provided all players agree. without an agreement, your opponents won't be happy to play against you.
