armor of the white city

if i play armor of the white city on a ranger does he become ranger knight or does he lose the ranger and just  becomes knight ?

He becomes both a Ranger and a Knight, like Boromir, SH. You can have multiple keywords.

it's a shame they never made a ring-bound version of each of the 9 walkers

Thorongil as knight is ace. Recently I played a game in which I kill everything in maneuver/archery, but he played wargs, so some lived due to rider's gear. Well, a Thorongil Knight with knight's mount, sword and gondor bow is enough to oompf the light out of their eyes....
