Poisoned Durin is stronger?

Is Durin III str +1 while bearing Spider Poison? I think he is, but it's kinda ironic and I'm looking for confirmation.

Imagine: Durin III and Shelob are skirmishing and they are of same strength.
                 
Durin III: I'll pass, 1 wound means nothing to me.
Shelob: Here, have some Spider Poison!
Durin III: Hah, #$&*@!, now I'm stronger - you lose!

Yes, you want to avoid giving Durin III Spider Poison.

Yep, the spider poison just makes him angry and no one likes an angry Dwarf.

Why should you not give him a spider poison? Okay he get's +1 str. but the exertion is worth it. He'll get exhausted fast enough and easier to be killed therefore. Also spiderpoison in combo with grima is fun.

But, usually not effective. Dwarves have Slaked Thirsts and Baruk Khazad to get around Grima.

Nothing is undefeatable. Don't be to sure about the effectivness of Grima. There's allways a combination of minions, events and conditiond which might hurt your dwarves.
