poor PC and poor connection
« on: July 10, 2008, 11:28:55 PM »
Ok guys, I've been tormented with a poor PC and an even worse connection lately. I will contact my provider, but at home it has been impossible to connect with the world. So you know. Maybe you don't care, but still, you know ;)

If you have a ZoneAlarm suite running on your mahine and recently installed the windows updates, then you have the same problem I have. Best solution is to either uninstall the latest windows release or shutdown ZoneAlarm.

I understand, definitely.  My Dad HATES that every time a windows update is installed, it messes everything up.  I just don't run any antivirus/firewall programs on my computer, and so far have no problems with viruses.

I have Dial-up, so I can vouch for Gil-estel for the time being.
