I just read the linked "10 most broken cards" with interest, because I just got Ulaire this week in a Shadows starter box.  Please explain the problem with Ulaire Nelya – 3rd of the 9 riders & Courtyard Parapet.  How could  the minion cause the site to be used again & again, if the minion's game text reads: "... from your adventure deck" (not path).  Could you have multiple copies of the same site in your deck?  And what of the site's game text "When the fellowship moves to..." (not when the fellowship suddenly finds themselves here)?  Seems benign, so I must be missing something.

Thanks!

Here's the method:
Opponent is moving, you play courtyard parapet (add a burden).
Drop Nelya, replace courtyard parapet with a site from your adventure deck.
Wait for opponent to move again.

Got it, thanks.  Not an instant corruption, as hinted in the article, but scary nonetheless.

My less-diabolical thought was to use Nelya's ability to play forest sites.  That's about all you can do in the starter he comes in, BTW.

Ithilien blade is not overpowered
I think it is. Two exerts to discard The Balrog or Sauron is OP.

Mountain Troll was broken by Lurker exerts using Rallying Orc, Demoralized and Mountain Troll

Rallying Orc, Lurker, Lurker, Lurker, Lurker... discard them for a free fierce Mountain Troll and then use his ability to play them all back. Demoralised keeps the twilight up and the FP gets totally exhausted, facing a swarm.
Which is what got Demoralised banned. Mountain Troll can still be severely OP without Demoralised Lurkers.

That's kind of my standard for how OP is a card.  Namely, is there any cards (and how many) that could be removed to balance it out.

Lady Redeemed: the only way you could bring her under control would be to ban every [Elven] event.  She's OP.

The Faithful Stone (at least the way it was originally worded) there's like... no cards you could ban to bring it under control.  It's OP.

Steadfast Champion?  There's only like one or two cards that "break" it.  It's not OP, the combo is.

Cirdan is borderline, but so are a lot of Mount Doom cards.

Steadfast Champion is not overpowered. What is overpowered is its loop with Treebeard.

and lots of Sige Of Gondor cards, those two sets (and reflections) started the power curve

aren't we talking about over-powered cards and not about "strong ones"?! ;)

The Uruk Shaman loop FTW. It's as powerful as you want it to be. :P
