Ah cool - i started making a Rohan deck but it was a real mess.

My next idea was to make it with villagers ... i might give this a go on GCCG perhaps with a couple of changes so its not completely plaigiarised :)

So is Sam just there to deal with the corruption threat?

Plagiarize away. :)

Sam, Samwise The Brave is nearly as good as Sam, Son of Hamfast in my opinion. He should be in every towers deck. Except maybe in a ranger deck a different Sam is okay, because Tired Traveller removes burdens pretty well there. Yes he's for corruption and also if Frodo chooses to sacrifice himself.

No. This deck is fresh built, it has similarities to the one you would have played against (back in the day when you were on gccg :P) but it really is completely different. I like using Gamling at the start of the game to get the most out of his text in this case. Eomer will be strong no matter when he comes along (both Eomer's Spear and Firefoot can be played on Gamling and transfered later, or just grab Eomer with the first lot of flowers if you need him).

I guess that Gamling is a good solution vs Golden Hall.

There would probably be a few different viable starting combinations for Rohan in towers block. Thankfully I haven't visited the Golden Hall in any games lately, Gamling would indeed help save a couple of possessions though if it pops up.
