Card rarity range in Reflections
« on: June 13, 2010, 08:26:36 PM »
So I'm just wondering, what would be the card rarity range in a Reflections booster pack? That is, how many rares, unc, and commons come in a Reflections pack. Has anyone opened a Reflections pack recently? It would be nice to know.

The non-Reflections cards in Reflections packs are supposedly random, but are limited to cards from the first six sets. You'll notice, though, that there are a lot of cards from Battle of Helm's Deep and Ents of Fangorn, primarily the alternate images rares found in those same starter decks.

Really? In the last box I opened, I got mostly cards from sets 1 and 4. And it seemed that most of the foreign language cards were spanish or portuguese.

Well, that is because of the excess of prints of those sets. However, I don't recall opening AI rares in any Reflections pack. Anyway, what is the frecuency of R+ cards in a Reflections pack?

I did. From those 6 or 7 Reflections Packs I ever opened, I think there were 2 or 3 AI Rares...

I thought the odds were a little slimmer. I thought it had like 6/7 in a boosterbox, containing 24 boosters.

Well, (I think) I got 11 in my last one so 2.5 could be right.

Are you sure? I could have sworn I pulled some in the set. Although it wasn't often. Then again I opened about 60 boxes of reflections....

reflections was for getting rid of over-printed sets, RotEL was not one of them, Reflections had FotR, TTT, EoF, BohD and MoM but not RotEL

I've also noticed that the majority of the Foreign Language cards seem to be from Ents as well.

agree to that.  as I mentioned before, I bought just a few packs but there were mostly EoF foreign cards.
