Plothole with Bilbo

     Although Bilbo typically has 8 resistance, I think he should have more if you want to be consistent with the book. I do not complain, I'm just being nerdy. I make these assumptions  in my calculations

•	Bilbo takes 1 or 2 burdens every 10 years.
•	Bilbo took 1 to 3 burdens in The Hobbit (he did not get very close to Mordor).
•	Only characters with 7+ resistance can give up the ring. Gandalf did not take the ring when he had the chance, where Isildor did.

    Hence, if Bilbo took only 1 burden during The Hobbit (he used The Ring a few times and most likely got to like it) and 1 every 10 years for 60 years until he gave it to Frodo, (a total of 7 burdens), he must of had 14+ resistance! Of course that is a lot of resistance, so they would have to disadvantage the Bilbo Ring-Bearer somehow. Any non Ring-Bearer Bilbo would appear after he gave away The Ring, so 8 resistance would do in these cases. Do you agree?

     Yes, it does work kin of well for the game, but I'm only talking about being like the book. Well, maybe if Bilbo is going to be a R+ Ring-Bearer with 3 Strength, he should be at least better than most Frodo's somehow.

I don't think that in the books, it was ever said that Bilbo had more resistance than Frodo.

In fact, I don't think Bilbo was more resistant. The numbers you created were arbitrary because the Ring had a greater effect based upon the volatility of the environment it was in. The ring was just a trinket until the Nine were released to look for it, and even that took a few years before it really started being a problem for Frodo.

I don't think constitution is a measurable stat outside of the purposes of a trading card game. But in general, Elves had the highest constitution, followed by Hobbits, then Dwarves, then Men.

Bit offtopic, but I think it was implied in the books that Dwarves could not be corrupted, but only seduced by greed.

Yeah, that's why I went with constitution rather than resistance. I think constitution is more universal.
