You Get to Buy One Thing.
« on: July 30, 2008, 01:58:30 AM »
I was just looking for a good 'earthrise on the moon' wallpaper for my laptop and decided that if I ever come into a large sum of money, I will spend it all just to pay for a passenger's ride to the moon (since we're apparently going back by 2020).

If you were given $X and were allowed to drop all of it - all at once - to finance one action, what would you do with it? You can't keep it and you can't invest it. You've got to either buy 1 thing or give it all away.

I'd buy the entire British Museum, and turn it into my personal entertainment gallery.

Sometimes I might let other people in.
Forget it. I'm not arguing with the computer anymore to try to get the sig I want....

hum...you know thats tough I would buy the US military take over a small oil rich country and send ambassadors to the UN...if anyone protested my ambassadors would moon them ;)

I would probably buy some big expensive fighter jet, a flight instructor, and a lifetimes supply of missiles and fuel...so much you could do with that...or are we trying to be serious?

Haha...oh, wow, SoP...you have interesting ideas of diplomacy.

There's a few people I can think of whose futures I'd love to be able to partially help out, if I had a lot of money...

C'mon, CG!

The point is to think of the most selfish, expensive, and completely pointless thing that you can to spend it all on! :P

...Besides. I think you're only allowed to spend/give it on/to one thing/person.

Most selfish buy? A Pagani Zonda for sure. But then I will not have money for insurance, gas or maintenance......
