eowyn, lady of ithilien

Hi , im a new guy here from Brazil ,where we still play and i have one question.

•Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien for me is one of the bests cards of the game, but now the peoples wich i playd have an doubt about his ability.
 in the card sayd:
 Skirmish: Exert Eowyn to choose an opponent. That opponent must wound a minion for each wound on each minion skirmishing Eowyn.
so if she is defender +1 with 2 minions exaust, like 5 wounds.The shadow player have 2 more minions with 2 vitality each.he must kill 3 minions right?or wound each minion just one time each?

Yes, great card!

Your opponent would need to place 5 wounds, so 3 minions would be killed.

but my friends still dont think this is right.I think the way the card was writing is a little ambiguous for us.They sayd if the eowyn is right  so the Ring of Fury you can discard him from Durin with damage +6 to heal 2 dwarfs 3 times.
can anyone explain better why eowyn make that effect??

Ring of Fury says 'X' Dwarves, (they can only heal once each).

LoI says 'a' minion, which can be any minion any ammount of times.

When a card says to do something to X characters, you do that action to each character once.  Since this is the way Ring of Fury is worded, you may heal up to X separate Dwarves each just once.  In order for Ring of Fury to work the way your friends are claiming, it would have been worded: "Spot a Dwarf that is damage +X to heal X wounds from Dwarves."

For Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien, because it is worded "wound a minion for each...", each wound may be assigned wherever you want.
