I have this nagging feeling he's refering to Gil-Estel.
"Never Again, will the land of my people, fall into enemy hands! For Gondor! For Gondor! For Gondor!

The clue was:
I destroy the inhabitants of an entire island, and you might want this, g, it seems to be missing.

Gillian is Gilligan without a g - gilligan's island.

So I protected Gillian.   :D

Also Incog says s/he has left clues to their identity.  The previous message had "flying north for the winter" and "eh", so it could potentially, possibly, umm, maybe someone from Canada or someone that has been to Canada recently, eh.

Interesting theory indeed....

I protected leokula b/c if I remember right from my rather insuccessful run as Incog, "kula" is an island in hawaii.
Or something like that. Pretty sure Ulmo's got it with the gillian, though,
Forget it. I'm not arguing with the computer anymore to try to get the sig I want....

Elf Lvr:
Bit of a scrawny Iowan kid with an unhealthy artifact obsession. Oh, and a God of Spam. In a good way.

Well, Señor, it seems I'll be having a talk with internal affairs after I get your badge numbers, and until my lawyer arrives I'm exercising my Miranda Rights! I'm innocent, for God's sake!

   i am here

   it seems that
   the brazilian government
   is more than mildly annoyed
   that you extradited
   one of their citizens

   to make matters worse
   it appears that felipe musco
   is not me

   how embarassing

   you should know that
   to everyone i meet
   i stay a stranger

   both lurtzy
   and ulmo
   have a black mark

   gillian on the other hand
   along with his entire isle
   is safe

   for now

let us play a little game
   i kill a hero
and you try to stop me
   i kill a villain
and you try to stop me

   my victim is a defender
   my victim is an avenger
   my victim wears purple
   not green

   monday

Yeah, I can't figure out who would be both a hero and a villain, otherwise. Nice reasoning, though I'm not sure about the "whole wears certain colors" part. That actually makes me think Thranduil, sonce purple is the color of royalty... so he would (figuratively?) wear purple instead of green...? Yeah, just about as weak as the Gondor = purple, Uruk = green logic.

Unless there's two victims. Seems an odd set of parallels.

Victim 1: Hero, defender, purple(?)

Victim 2: Villain, avenger, purple(?)

Incog didn't specify 2 victims, but it seems to be a possibility....
Forget it. I'm not arguing with the computer anymore to try to get the sig I want....
