... At this point, the entire police force burst into the locked computer lab where AgentDrake was busily typing away his latest threats against society while eating a nice chocolate cake with mint icing.
In the ensuing struggle, AgentDrake whipped out a gun, and the cops were saved only by the quick thinking of sickofpalantirs who stabbed AgentDrake to death with his own plastic fork, hastily grabbed from where it still lay, half-sunk into a bite of cake.
Later analysis confirmed that the cake was indeed stolen.
(That, of course, explained what happened to that missing slice from Shieldmaiden's birthday....)
Afterwards, the following paper was found on Drake's dead, cake-and-blood covered corpse:

It seems you know who I am. Well, well. what gave me away? Was it the cake crumbs on my uniform? I certainly hope not. It took me long enough to get the thing dry-cleaned every morning.
