    4 [U] Volcanic Island
    4 [[card=02082]TE[/card]] Wasteland

// Creatures

// Sideboard
SB: 3 [M10] Pithing Needle
SB: 4 [IA] Pyroblast
SB: 4 [10E] Wrath of God
SB: 4 [CS] Cryoclasm

Just like Ravnica.

So, you can do several things with the deck.

The first is counter- a lot. I used Remand over Counterspell because I like the card-drawing ability, and they probably won't get to recast their spell fairly easily. And Rune Snags just rock when you're sucking your opponent's mana away.

Okay, so free spells begone, thanks to Trinisphere, now you have land destruction. If you want to be able to operate your FoWs and Remands and Rune Snags and such uninhibited, just play Trinisphere later. In fact, Trinisphere dropped in conjunction with Numot is the most effective lockdown I've seen (cept vs Ichorid, but that's mana-based in Legacy too so...)

Finishers- well, 12 crits should suffice.

I'm not packing Wrath maindeck, though I probably should be, just because I can't figure out what to cut for it.

SB is U hate, mostly, Needle for various misc uses and Wrath to wipe out token spammers or other crits that get dropped down the first couple turns (freakin' Nimble Mongoose).

And I actually realized that minus the duals, fetchlands, Jace and FoW, this is not that expensive of a deck to build.

I may try to build it IRL at some point where I have spare cash. I want a Legacy deck.

Biggest problem is: it is SLOW. Angelfire was so hot because it played Signets (and Relic alone simply won't cut it) and Court Hussar, which bought the deck enough time. In Legacy, Wrath of God won't do you any good most of the time (you won't be able to hit fast enough the decks you need it to hit, and you won't do enough collateral damage to the other decks), Swords to Plowshares are just better, most legacy decks are light on threats. Also, you need Grim Lavamancer in you sideboard, at least, to fight Merfolk. Remand is cute, but in a format as devastating as Legacy, you need a hard counter. Stifle should probably make it into the 75 as well. Numot is also great, but also way too slow. Threats need to be cheap, or they need to come down at instant speed.

Yeah, I'm finding that it can hold its own vs tier 2, but it rolls over dead vs tier 1.

And Helix is mainly dead, as well.
