GCCG community a disappointment?

Been watching games for a while now, and I just can't believe the things people are doing...
3x Fat one wants it in play at the same time, but they didn't even add threats when they played him, and they played him with Captured by the ring. The other player assigned his RB Boromir, BoC without wounding him or adding any burdens.

p.s. No one seems to take notice of the x lists. -.-

I watched FotR, Movie and Standard formats.

just to add my own 2 cents (not that you asked, but I'll do it anyways) I know for a fact, there are a few players on gccg who, house rules or not, just flat out play the game wrong.  I've asked them what format they were playing and they ignored me.  Water off a duck's back, but just FYI, there are some folks who just, literally, throw cards on the table and move till someone hits site 9.

other than that, players on GCCG are a wonderful lot.

here here! Both hrcho and ket are super players!  Some of my best, funnest, most painful games have been played against these guys!  If you ever have a chance Bartol, play against hrcho or ket.  They know the game very well.

I think in the end, people who like basketball have turned the channel, people who like baseball have turned the channel, people who like football have turned the channel...

...if it isn't something you like, check out another game. Making generalizations of a relatively large community (maybe 100 active users) over a couple games doesn't really seem fair. And by "doesn't really seem" I mean "isn't."

This is reminding me a lot of another guy who asked if GCCG was free...and I said that it was only $9.99 to subscribe and packs were $1.75 but starters were half off on Sunday for only $4.75...I seem to remember him not taking kindly to my prank and thinking that all GCCG players must be #$&*@!.

He was wrong. I'm the only one*.

By reading what people say about you, I highly doubt that you are an #$&*@!. But I'll just have to find the out for my self.

And I didn't claim that the community was a disappointment, I was asking how common these cases were. Thus the question mark. I'm not flawless,  but I know the rules pretty well.
As far as I am concerned, this topic can be closed, since my question was answered.
There is obviously a number of players who don't have any idea what they are doing, but for every one of those, there is at least 2 persons who know the rules well and are obviously very fun to play against.

Actually, my response to jdizzy did include people on GCCG that I gave my stamp if approval, but I wanted the theme of my posts to be "most people are okay."

Hoorah for Gil (aka Heije), another grand master of the LOTR TCG! Is there a "good" players list?  Maybe we should start a kind of Angie's List of GCCG players?

It would be much easier to make a list of people on GCCG to avoid. As far as I know, Mager and summerz are the only ones who actively cheat during a game.

Wow, that was easy.  there you go the angie's list of gccg players.  I'll bet Ket has a staples easy button sitting by his computer, *click* it's done!

There are other people I prefer to not play (mostly poor sports) but it is probably inappropriate for me to share that list.

But...if you want to PM me, I will tell you who declares loss as soon as you go up two sites or someone who says that playing discard is not fair in Fellowship and declares loss by site three. There are a few other good, similar stories with other people...
