What is the standard procedure for cards not arriving?
« on: October 20, 2010, 06:13:08 AM »

I'm just wondering what the standard procedure is when cards don't arrive that you've sent.  There are 2 transactions I made over a month ago, but for whatever reason my cards did not arrive.  One was a sale through Paypal, the other was a trade.  In both cases I cannot completely replace the cards sent as I don't have extra copies of everything.  Any information would be appreciated.

Oh, that is very unpleasant.  Try to check them by "track and trace" service.  :uh-huh:

The cards have arrived...it took 6 weeks and it is not that he has send them too late. Stamped 8th of september, very special. Thanks for your ongoing concern, for your generous offer and for the very good communication!

Hi,

my transaction was the one done over paypal. based from feedback from the seller, the cards were shipped sept 21, but the lot i purchased has not arrived yet after almost 6 weeks (officially 6th week by tom)... Im quite concerned as well since i have made numerous purchases over the past month and it is only here that I have experienced delays.

I don't want to leave any negative feedback against the seller as he has been prompt in replying to my messages still. He has also agreed to send me another batch of cards (of the same value, but not the same cards anymore) that I can pay for only after the arrival of both shipments. I was quite ok with the setup however, I don't have as many wants anymore unless im going to build a new deck (which means I'll have to spend more again to complete)

I've done quite a few transactions on here now (probably around 10) alot of these people can vouch for me.  I was just going with your suggestion, i'm open to other arrangements if you'd like, just LMK.  At this point the cards are either on their way back to the return address or they're just gone unfortunately.  I personally don't think a fair solution is a complete refund of all the $.  I also think initiating a Paypal dispute when we were clearly still in the middle of communicating a solution is cool.

Yeah guys, work it out with the two of you. I had to wait 6 weeks as well, which is weird, but Jon was very concerned the whole time and constantly thinking of possibilities to counter the "what if" situation. Obviously, in my case it went just fine.

I have no bad experiences with the seller as well... he's been very accomodating and replies promptly from the negotiation phase until now.

Nothing against jonobgood, i trust he did send the cards that's why im not requesting for a refund as well. I proposed that he send another batch of cards which i'll pay for once both shipments have arrived... just having a hard time picking cards since i've pretty much bought all my wants already... unless i want to begin a new deck
