G&G Gondor and Gandy (FP only)

Ive been playing on GCCG for a month on two and have had some new ideas for decks this is one of them.
Check this and rate or suggest something.

You have to set up your fellowship as fast as you can. You achieve that by using 2 saved from the fire. First you burn Gandy to get a Sent Back, Defender of the West and another Saved from the Fire. Then you use the second SftF to burn Gondorian Knight and get Aragorn HoE, Boromir DoMT and Anduril.
The fellowship is based on winning skirmishes, with SotSF, SYS, and TMAYOD.
I was thinking on adding a Last Throw and perhaps some more events.
What do you think?

do u mulligan if you don't get sftf on the first draw? sounds like a really huge twilight pool for 4 comps on the first turn...might work though

if i remember right, it IS a HUGE twilight pool for the first turn...

I'm always hesitant about a deck that REALLY needs something in the opening draw and has more than 30 cards. You are at 35 if I counted correctly with only 3 Saved From the Fire.

Don't get me wrong, I love SftF I just try to have a slim deck and 4 copies if I'm counting on it in my opening draw.

Too little healing. Pretty much any wounding shadow would have his way with you and those 2 Saplings wouldn't be of much help. I also suggest Son of Hamfast instead of Narya and Garrison of Gondor could help since it's a strong companion (especially with Isildur) and switching Aragorn, HoE for Aragorn, CoG.

As for the SftF, it is indeed best to play everything you have on first turn because more often than not, your opponent will not have the luck of shadow cards good enough to make some unrepairable damage, not to mention that most players will mulligan their shadow hands for any chance of getting Free Peoples cards (especially companions) on the first turn.

Sleep, Caradhras or Grown Suddenly Tall would make a better choice than Deep in Though since you have few conditions and none are crucial.
