Quote
In Sindarin Arwen's name signifies noble woman (S. 'ar'=noble, 'wen'=maiden). Her second name or epessë, Undómiel meaning Evenstar (Evening star) (Q. 'undómë'=dusk, 'él'=star) Therefore she is also called Arwen Evenstar. She is also known as the Lady of Imladris and the Lady of Lórien, after the two places she lives, with her father and mother's relatives, respectively.

Nothing racist there Hrcho, just to comfort you.

That said, I just wanted to make a remark on her. She is worth playing! Especially in the current meta on GCCG, where Orcs are omnipresent her sidekicks are not bad either. We have to use 3 of the following allies:

1. Elrond, KoV
2. Elrond, HtGG
3. Erestor, CATE
4. Galdor, CFTW
5. Golradir, COI
6. Saelbeth, EC
7. Silinde, EoM

Wheter you pick # 1 or #2, Elrond is in! I like the first very much. He can help you cycle and heal. If you are after a fellowship win, who cares about discarding top cards? If it is a Elven card, it is yours and you get to heal. Good I'd say. The second is playing on safe, plus you get other benefits. Healing another elf ally is also an option, which can be great after a double move and returning 2 minions to the owners hand, therefor clogging and spending more twilight. Heal him next turn and you are good to go.

Erestor is somewhat of a guess. We see however quite a lot Sauron wounding going on lately, or Sauron burdening. VS both decks he has it's use. Don't forget to pack a Stand Against Darkness (which has nothing to do with darkskinned people, darkness simply being a metaphor for evil Hrcho), cause that card can safe the day. Bye bye Grond, bye bye Sauron. So, Erestor is worth the consideration.

Galdor is the 'safest' ally, apart from Elrond. There is no cultural boundary, so any minion can be returned. I have used him vs Siege Troop, so I have seen his use. You can use him also in your battle vs the Crabby Imposter, who is trying to ruin everyones day with his Orthanc Library..yeah right, if those Orcs will ever read a book. Regroup wounding? Well, I'd like to be healthy, and 1 exertion by an ally, can prevent a few wounds on your companions.

Golradir is an Orc ally, but there are quite some Orcs out there. Isengard, Moria, Sauron, Mordor Orcs, all are used quite a lot. His ability to weaken an Orc just a bit, could just safe the day. Not stacked on Goblin Swarms, no extra wounds due to lack of initiative and all Morcs are dmg +, 1 less vitality to wound in regroup, not overwhelming your RB... He is not likely to be a gamewinner, though you could give him Aiglos and the Tale of Gil-Galad (borrowed from the library of Orthanc and so he should know the value of Gil-Galad's spear) so he has 4 vitality and able to make an Orc even weaker. It wouldn't be my option, but who knows.

Saelbeth is an Uruk-Hai ally, but I haven't seen them a lot lately. Also, Uruks are generally spoken a.) to strong to make a difference or b.) to weak to make a difference. So he could be in, but he wouldn't be my top 1 candidate.

Silende is only cool when you play Multipath and you can actually use your site 3.

But with Golradir, Elrond and Galdor you have 3 allies that are somehow worthy to be played and of course Arwen, pretty Arwen benefits! I could think of an forearmed deck, in which the Elrond that draws elven cards can come in handy. Add Gil-Galad and Cirdan and you are good to go.

Well, all in all, I am thinking of new decks...I'm sure some of you can notice that I have vacation
