Open Deck
« on: November 03, 2010, 10:40:51 AM »
Ok,

My friends and I play sets 1-14 only (not sure if there is already a format for this). Anyways, Im a bit bored from using the same decks over and over again...so is there any good decks out there for this format?

I alread have
gondor knights
dwarves
elven archery

I was wondering if there is a good gandalf, leader of men deck that does not use saved from the fire.
for the shadow side, resistence uruks perhaps?

can't find any good deck lists for both though...

if you play 1-14 go with pain in the #$&*@! Denethor, ruling steward...:-) He is your best friend, trust me....

Absolutely direct wounding. Load a lot possessions on Denethor and other Gondor comps. You could go with Gimli RB, legolas and Gandalf Leader of Men. Denethor exerts a lot in maneuver, Quick as may be, Terrible and Evil finish it off...It would be most certainly the way to go for me....

Do you have a decklist for this? im assuming you would also need some sort of healing for gandalf, deep in though would also be useful... im liking the idea, though im not really familiar with gondor companions and possessions. mostly play dwarves and hobbits hehe hope you have a dekclist for this..

hrm... not exactly what i was looking for since gandalf, leader of men was not in it...

anyways, looks like the deck could use catapult to maximize hardy garrison

My version, in standard, worked with Legolas, FM, to lose initiative. It worked wonders
