Treachery & Deceit Smudges

Hi all...

Just looking through commons/uncommons with T&D and noticed that there are several cards with ink smudges that are fairly obvious-a few seem very common such as the blueing on Whisper in the Dark and Cast From the Hall in which 1/3 or so of the cards have this smudging.  But I found 2 others that seem much less common on Orkish Skirmisher in which the helmet has a large blue triangle and on Rohirrim Recruit. 

Kind of trivial stuff but just wondering if anyone ever put together lists of these.  I know on the Mahasamatman site there is a seemingly comprehensive list of these little anomalies from the Helm's Deep set described. 

Just curious.

I've had this as well, I can only assume it was the printing that must have been done with lesser quality than sets before.

A couple of cards have a very peculiar hue to them. 18u37 is a good example. I really like shieldmaiden's scan of the card because it shows the difference to the other cards nicely.

BTW, I do not really buy into the whole misprint stuff. I do not see how defectively printed cards can become more than a novelty. If it is misprinted, fine by me, but I prefer the correctly printed stuff any day.

I've got a starter deck worth of smudged T&D stuff from the last booster box I opened.

Same cards as above as well.

Annoying considering the price of the booster box. Haha.
