I think the biggest problem you'll encounter will be how to lose initiative and inability to run.

For running, you can use Narrow Escape and/or Deft In Their Movements.

For losing initiative, you'll have bigger problems. The best options are Gandalf, Manager of Wizards or an elf with Elven Sword (or Arwen with Gwemegil). Both options, however, require some bigger deck changes. For an elf, you could also use Elrond, HtGG with Vilya to remove some pesky conditions and put an Elven Sword on him. (You can use its text for no effect).

As for cheaper options that would require the least changes, you can use an Ent with Unhasty keyword (except Treebeard, GotF). Birchseed, TS and Lindenroot, ES are your best bets. Note that if you go this way, you can also use Brooding on Tomorrow to help you against conditions.

The only other thing I can think of is Smeagol, Poor Creature. He is the cheapest option, but if you make some adjustments, you can make a good addition out of him. Switching Bane of Eight Legs for Baggins Heirloom would be one of them. Also, cards like Don't Follow the Lights, Not Listening, Sneaking! and Don't Look at Them can be very helpful.

Bottom line is, you need something to lose initiative and I gave you the choices I can think of at the moment. You choose which suits you best or find something else. My recommendation goes with Smeagol, PC. You can immediately start with him and requires the least cards to work good.
Some days you're the statue, and some days you're the pigeon.

I agree with everything hrcho said.  Your biggest problem is losing initiative.  That's why I use Manger of Wizards in my deck.  Lindenroot and Birchseed are good choice, but I really like hrcho's idea of using Smeagol, PC.  I think it's you best bet if you don't want to use Ents or Gandalf.

Also, I'm glad to see that I inspired someone with my deck.  Have a gold  :gp:

Not an uncommon deck, actually.

i would make a couple of changes .
Smeagol always helps + 2 don't look at them : cool combo .
It can provide losing initiative + killing almost everything . (+ as a previous guy stated + not listening= imba (it triggers light in his mind that triggers shire countryside that heals ur merry that can give another time his str etc etc etc )
(Dont look at them can be used without a minion skirmishing smeagol)
Put in pippin wombas . (losing 2 times initiative is cool for this deck or some early combo with smeagol always helps )
Put in merry friend to sam . This guy is REALLY annoying for the opponent.
Put extra light in his mind . This card + shire countryside is a really powerfull combo (close to broken )
Put a boromir who supports hobbits by exerting for +3 str.Really nice card to play at 7th site.(at the previous site pippin would be in ur hand and at discard pile :) )
Throw away some cards like bounder , rosie cotton.
Frodo 's cloak is a nice addition too.Generally every card that removes a burden in skirmish phase is cool :)

A nice dillemma is : everyone knows. cool card but does not work well with merry friend of sam.
Why play this specific merry ? Because with shire countryside he will make the other hobbits beasts.

I had played 4 hobbits - smeagol always helps deck in psq in greece.it went very good (5-1)(it was the season when the elf #$&*@! sunk every ship from my corsairs :p (before shadows came))
Everyone knows didnt exist at that time so i dont know if it is worth to put it and change merry friend to sam to another merry since u are using shire countryside-light in his mind combo.

anyway gl with ur deck

Derufin is a universal character and a very good splash companion. He can help you against Grond, HotU and Corsairs.

Secret Paths and Safe Paths are your options for mega move. Secret Paths is obviously far more preferable.

Smeagol always helps + 2 don't look at them : cool combo .

I agree it's a killer combo, but I prefer Poor Creature if my intention is to lose initiative because Don't Look at Them is a condition and as such can be easily discarded. When that happens, you get screwed.

thanks to your advices i am completing the definetly list and may be somethintg like this :

Frodo Resistance 12 ( better with birthay present)
The one ring Answer to all riddles

Merry, From O'er the Brandywine
Pippin, Friend to Frodo
Sam, Great Elf Warrior
Smeagol Poor creature

Sting, Sting, Baggins Heirloom x1
Hobbit Sword x3
A Promise x4
Birthday Present x2
Escape x2
Everyone Knows x4
The Shire Countryside x3
A Light in His Mindx2
So Fair, So Desperate x3
NfFatRoD x2
talent for not beeing seen x2
there and back again
the tale of the great ring
PATHS x1
Secret paths ( running site six to 9 )
deft in their movements (to play in site six to 9)

... continue reviewing my collections to add new cards.  For my oppinion ... too many cards (37) but probably with Poor creature and loosing initiative i could empty the deck in few turns.

now i need help with the shadow part of the deck.   My first option is to play  enduring Nazguls that stops opponent. Other options is to combine nazguls with morgul orcs and ninja gollum.
What is your oppinion?

I suggest for Shadow side to be something that doesn't mind too many discarded cards (via Poor Creature). Best in that area are Moria and Corsairs.

Ninja Gollum might not be the best choice for the same reason. He discards cards (via They Stole It) and your Freeps need those cards.

Enduring Nazzies can work wonders too. Depends on the build. Make something and play test it. That's the best way to see if something works or not.

Some days you're the statue, and some days you're the pigeon.

I decided to play CORSAIRS. My list is :

3 x ships of great draugtht
3 x black sails of umbar
2 x red wairth
2 x wind that sped ships
3 corsair plunderer
2 desert lord
3 x corsair boastwain
4 x corsair marauder
3 x raider halberd
4 x castamir
2 x black numenor

are you agree with his list? probably is quite old because i played corsairs in the past, but i think it will be competitive.

i play few matches with my friend ( Moria/drawing Freeps) and Moria beats me every time.... goblin swarms and goblin armory sucks me.

my friend never gives me PATHS (with birday present), so it´s dificult to beat moria without it.

i am thinking to introduce gandalf and condition removal to help hobbitises to the win.

any suggestions?

.... to be continued.
