Session Timed Out
« on: May 08, 2008, 05:57:37 PM »
Whenever I try to quote somebody and then I post my response, it says something along the lines of session timed out. Why??????????????????

Dunno. I haven't had that problem. Have you tried setting your login time for "forever"? Might be that it's kicking you out after just a short period.
Forget it. I'm not arguing with the computer anymore to try to get the sig I want....

I do have it on logged in forever. It just happens when I quote another person.

Are you using the quick-reply box? Try toggling that setting on Profile-->Look and Layout Preferences and see if it makes a difference.

Whenever I use the autofill for my username and password, it says incorrect password. I've tried deleting the autofill and recreating it, but it doesn't fix the issue.

What autofill are you talking about? Something with your browser?

you know when it remembers your password?

it fills in the password for me and I click login, but then it says it's incorrect.

you probably typed it in wrong, then quick remember, and now it remembers the wrong one...

It's obviously typed right if it lets me in when I type it the first time...when it asks to remember it I click yes and then I get it. But when I try to get in using the password it remembered, it doesn't let me in with the remembered password. :(

If that doesn't work, should I format my hard drive?

You should throw out your computer and get a new one. That would prolly solve your problem.
