Available Trade - 18RF4 - Beorning Axe

Wow ... have only just come back to game and had no idea sets 15, 17-18 were in such low print and demand !!!

Back in the day, I actually bought a box or two of ROS and T&D, and after some searches today, have promptly ran back to card stack and locked up a few cards in a vacuumed sealed titanium safe! (j/k!)

However, I do actually like playing the game, and since you can't buy these sets anymore, I'm proposing the following to see if there's any interest:

HAVE:
1 x 18RF4 - Beorning Axe

WANT:
2 x 18R12 - Gil-galad, High King of the Noldor (non foil)

With current prices, from what I can tell, this would be a fair trade.  I haven't been an active trader before, usually I would just buy what I wanted (and yes, I did shed a small tear when Cobra ended....) - however, this doesn't appear to be an option anymore.

Any interest?  Thoughts / comments?

Of note is the fact that I have two of these cards - although I have yet to committ to the idea of selling/trading the other.

Ok ... I've been doing a bit more research on things, and it seems that I've probably over-estimated the value of this card (suprised no one has flamed me for this! LOL)

Although I've seen some rediculous prices for it, I believe it's value would be closer to $60-$70, which would make this proposal a little silly with Gil at around $50 ... (if it was 18O1 however, I'd probably still be ok! LOL)

Anyways, I am very interested in trying to hunt down this card if anyone has it for trade - please let me know, and as always, if you feel I'm still in error with my assumptions, do let me know!

When you put cards up for ridiculously high prices, eventually people will start to believe they're worth that much. That said, I'd say a 1 for 1 (of above) is most reasonable.

Agreed Mr Lurtzy - and I had no intention of being "ridiculous" about it; just going off what I've seen.  Now I've been looking longer, it's fair to say I can make a better judgement call.

I've just secured one copy of this card via other means (well, it's not secured until it's in my hands, but hopefully soon), so I only have one more to go before the deck is ready to go. 

Once again - if anyone is interested, then please let me know.  I've had some PM's regarding trading for something other than Gil - but for the moment, that is my current focus.
