Cheap & competitive shadow sides
« on: April 09, 2011, 06:32:03 AM »
Slowly, but surely all my friends are getting back to the game, and all of them want new decks, and since I started playing again in our playgroup first, and I'm playing a lot on GCCG, they all ask for my help. Back in the day, we all stopped playing at Bloodlines, so they don't have access to a lot of Hunters block cards, and they are bored with playing my decks, they want to play with their own. They don't have much problem with freep sides, but it looks like with last block, shadow sides really became much more powerful, so they are looking for cheap shadow sides. It is not a problem, if they are rare intense, until they don't have a lot of Hunters block cards in them.

So, I'm interested in your opinions, what do you guys think, which are the best pre-hunters shadow sides, that are still make the cut in expanded?

So far I can think of these:
[Men] archery (even without GATS, it can cause pain)
 [Orc] weapons (maybe)
[Raider] corsairs (they all hate corsairs)

EDIT: Please, if a moderator sees this, move it to Expanded. Sorry.
