Weary, a new mechanic.

I was looking at some cards and this just sort of came to me.

Fruitless Pursuit
Event * Maneuver
Exert an tracker to weary an unbound companion until the start of the regroup phase. (That companion may not exert.)

Basically, a wearied companion is just too tired to exert himself but is physically fine. No closer to death but can't push his body any further. Could be a really powerful shutdown strategy, which means that the mechanic would be heavily culturally enforced.

I don't really like that as a mechanic; however, I love the idea for the card...something like:

Exert an tracker and spot a companion. That companion cannot exert until the start of the regroup phase.

Cool idea.
