It's not a particularly intuitive build and definitely has room for improvement, but why did someone "thumbs down" this message?

Your guess is as good as mine.

True 98.34% of the time!  However my deck is pretty big and that Eomer is helping me cut it to size by getting rid of the multiple unique cards I draw, and the stuff I don't need (IE: Any useless Gandalf's or other unique cards.  Also he's valiant.  Currently though I'm wondering wether I should throw in some TMAYOD, and get rid of some other stuff.

Trust is an option, but I would suggest tossing out the pumps to make place. Also its on the big side, so maybe you should cut some room in general. Best is to practise it to see whichc ard will/will not be used.

I didnt thumb him down btw, see no reason to.

True, as for it being large I'm using Rohirrim Captain to help with the cycling

Thumbed both posts up to offset the thumbs down. Seriously, someone has deep-seated issues around here, I think this system might have been a mistake.
As for the deck, it does not seem to play that many copies of anything you would want to ditch, but it's not thaaaaat big anyway. However, you surely won't cycle through it without losing some valuable cards, so you might consider shrkinking down on cards a little and playing more copies of the more important cards, like some possessions, and simply playing the better Eomer then, since you won't need to cycle that bad anymore.

So I've played some games with this beast, and surprisingly 3/4 times the fellowship has come out without a scratch.  It's the shadow that gives me the most trouble, generally because I rely on large amounts of pool, but also because of cards like Greenleaf, Aragorn's Bow, or archery.  So I may have to completely redo the shadow side :'(

i think that you are playing the minions wrong. i have played and played against berserker decks and the most successful builds seem to play the minions like this:

2-3 copies of each unique berserker (these are your machetes to really kill people with.)
abaut 4x of uruk sapper uruk engineer and uruk crossbow troop these guys don't suck up much pool but do you a lot of good. first they are a cheap minion, which is what you are looking for, additionally, they are a guaranteed token for their texts so they don't have to rely on siege engine. then they can double up, if siege engine is on the table. and THEN they can often exert to place a token for the text of the machine.

if its a sapper, that's 3 tokens for 2 twilight. and at the end of a game against a battered fellowship they can be critical in getting some face-time with the ring-bearer.
